The Blurb:

I have killed several people (some brutally, others calmly) and yet I currently languish in jail for a murder I did not commit.

When I think about what I actually did, I feel somewhat sad that nobody will ever know about the complex operation that I undertook. Getting away with it is highly preferable, of course, but perhaps when I’m long gone, someone will open an old safe and find this confession. The public would reel. After all, almost nobody else in the world can possibly understand how someone, by the tender age of 28, can have calmly killed six members of her family. And then happily got on with the rest of her life, never to regret a thing.

When Grace Bernard discovers her absentee millionaire father has rejected her dying mother’s pleas for help, she vows revenge, and sets about to kill every member of his family. Readers have a front row seat as Grace picks off the family one by one – and the result is as and gruesome as it is entertaining in this wickedly dark romp about class, family, love… and murder.

But then Grace is imprisoned for a murder she didn’t commit. (Taken from Goodreads)

My Thoughts

What can I say about this book. First of all I listened to this book on Scribed and I really enjoyed listening to it the Narrators Charly Clive and Paul Panting made the reading experience so much fun to listen to so I really do recommend you pick up the Audio book version . The book follows Grace who is already in prison and she recounts the experiences of basically killing her dads side of the family as she has been rejected and her dad didnt want to know about her thing is her family are all really unlikable. The storys of each family member Grace bumps off is really dark and funny if you get easily offended then this book is not for you. The book is dark and i loved the dark humour all the way I found myself laughing out loud. I found this a quick read/listen there is some really good twists one of which you find out really early on and i was like wait what. yes I mentioned two narratrors but you will have to wait untill you read or listen to the book for that twist. I felt the chractures were really well devloped and Bella Mackie deffantly didnt make me feel anything for Graces Family at all.

I enjoyed the scenes when Grace was in prison I loved her cell mate Kelly she is very funny and a little annoying but she was a very enjoyable side chracture.

This book is a very funny good Dark humor revenge book its a thoroughly good read for what its worth I recommend listening to the book just because Charley Clive as great and very funny as Grace.

I gave this book 4.5 stars
